Slight to moderate chances of showers and thunderstorms begin developing areawide by mid-afternoon Friday.
There is at least some risk of severe weather in that time frame. The National Weather Service has outlined a marginal risk, or lowest hazard level, for areas along and north of a line from Lincolnville to Bazaar to Madison. Areas south of that line are in a slight risk. Wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail to the size of quarters are the main concerns between 3 pm and midnight.
Heavy rainfall from Wednesday night into Thursday meant more adjustments to Lyon County’s road closure map:
Closed are:
*Road 150 from N to P
*The south part of the Road 160 and R intersection
Reopened are:
*Road K from 190 to 210
*Road N-5 from 175 to 180
*Road 180 from Burlingame to N-5
