Traffic is moving around the latest water main break near 12th and West after an incident Friday afternoon.
This break — the third either in or near the intersection in two weeks — is just west of the intersection and near the south curb, thus allowing traffic to move freely despite the cutout zone needed to make repairs.
Water main repairs were needed Aug. 2 after a failure in the intersection and immediately to the south. The failures Aug. 2 also included separate failures on 12th at Washington and just east of Walnut.
An estimated repair timetable for the new break at 12th and West is pending.
