Jury trial has been set for one of two defendants in a Lyon County human trafficking and sex abuse case.
Jesus Mannuel Trillo-Hurtado, age 45, was set for trial to begin Nov. 12 as part of a pretrial and arraignment hearing this past Friday. A status hearing is coming Nov. 6, with a motions hearing now on the docket Sept. 6.
Trillo-Hurtado is facing four total counts, two each of aggravated human trafficking and aggravated commercial sexual exploitation of a child, following alleged activity between January and May of 2016.
Trillo-Hurtado’s wife, Maria Elena Trillo, her her pretrial and arraignment hearing at 10 am Tuesday. She faces the same charges as her husband.
