One of two defendants in an Emporia stabbing case is now set for a plea hearing this upcoming fall.
Gary Grana had a pretrial and arraignment hearing Monday. He’s accused of misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct after an alleged incident June 1.
Co-defendant Raena Grana faces single counts of aggravated battery and interference with law enforcement. She returns to court for a pretrial hearing Sept. 5.
The Granas were charged after an alleged stabbing at 1101 Congress. Emporia Police have said there was a dispute involving several people. One person suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound.
