Short-term railroad crossing maintenance and repair work continues in and around Emporia.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe has two projects for Wednesday in Emporia, announcing work at the Merchant and Weaver crossings effective the rest of the day.
BNSF already had work planned for Wednesday at Road P, with separate work Thursday and Friday at Road A, or the Lyon-Chase county line. Speaking of Chase County, work will take place at ZZ Road in Saffordville for Thursday and Friday.
