An investigation is underway after an Emporia woman was arrested on suspicion of drug distribution and other potential charges.
Emporia Police arrested Anissa Leigh Gardner-Lagg late Thursday afternoon on suspicion of distributing unspecified illegal drugs, as well as possession of unspecified drugs, marijuana and paraphernalia. Gardner-Lagg was also arrested on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment.
Formal charges are pending. Emporia Police Capt. Ray Mattas says the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation, so officers cannot divulge other details at this time.
