Minor injuries resulted from a crash near an Emporia senior living facility Saturday.
Emporia Police and Emporia Fire/EMS responded to 12th and Chestnut just before 3 pm. Police Sgt. Dominick Vortherms says a USPS truck was westbound on 12th and was in the process of turning into the Homestead of Emporia parking lot when a pickup driver suffered a medical emergency while driving and crashed into the USPS truck.
Both drivers declined medical treatment afterward.
