A status hearing is coming next month in Coffey County for a man accused of rape.
Mason Keith Neff, age 18, has a status conference Sept. 19 in front of Judge Taylor Wine.
Neff faces single counts of rape and aggravated criminal sodomy after an alleged incident Feb. 9. The alleged victim was up to 13 years old at the time.
If convicted, Neff faces 25 years to life in prison for both counts.
