An investigation is underway after a car-bicycle accident in north Emporia on Tuesday.
Emporia Police, Emporia Fire/EMS and Emporia State Police and Safety responded to the 100 block of West 12th, just west of the intersection of 12th and Merchant, around 11:30 am. The cyclist, a male, was taken to Newman Regional Health with apparently minor injuries.
