Pretrial and arraingment is coming in early October for an Emporia man accused of aggravated battery.
Emanul Cornejo was set for arraignment Oct. 2 as part of a hearing this week.
Cornejo faces charges of aggravated battery, interference with law enforcement and other counts after an alleged incident in the 700 block of Sylvan in early May. One person was taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected serious injuries.
