It’s rare for a small school to return everyone from the previous year’s team.
For Hartford, the Jaguars return everyone for the 2024 season after finishing last season with a 1-8 record.
Sophomore Landen Schultz returns at quarterback after being the starter as a freshman. Seniors Tysin Bulson, Nolan Trester, and Bo Peters, juniors Daden Wilson, Keenan Renfrow, and Simon Blankley, and sophomores Coy Wilkinson and Tyce Ndegwa also return.
Hartford opens the season against Fairfield, a team that defeated the Jaguars in the non-bracketed game during Week 9 in 2023. The Jaguars will play all five Lyon County League 8-Man teams with games against Lebo, Waverly, and Burlingame with games against Lebo and Burlingame also serving as district games. The Jaguars will also play Rural Vista and Centre.
Hartford will be featured on Sept. 27 on KVOE’s Area Game of the Week at Lebo.
