Individual income tax receipts were strong at $329.4 million, beating estimates by over 6 percent and August 2023 numbers by over 10 percent. Combined retail sales and compensating use tax receipts totaled $294.6 million, 4.5 percent more than projections and slightly above August 2023.
Those numbers more than offset corporate income tax collections at $20.2 million, almost 33 percent below forecasts and almost 20 percent below August 2023.
