There are possible trial dates now set for a Missouri man accused of leading two law enforcement pursuits involving area departments earlier this summer.
Frederick Beecher Hogue of Hollister, Missouri, had a pretrial conference Thursday. Judge Lee Fowler has tentative trial start dates of Oct. 21, Oct. 28 or Nov. 18, pending the results of a status hearing Oct. 16 or currently-unforeseen delays.
Hogue faces two counts of flee and elude, as well as one count each of interfering with law enforcement and driving with a suspended license. He’s accused of leading a short high-speed chase in the Emporia city limits, followed soon after by a high-speed chase from Emporia into Franklin County. Both incidents allegedly took place July 3.
Hogue is also accused of being a fugitive from Jasper County, Missouri, on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and resisting arrest. He has an extradition hearing in that case Wednesday.
