Another store at the Emporia Pavilions is opening to the public soon.
Maurices is moving from its current location, Flinthills Mall, and will have opening ceremonies Sept. 19, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 pm.
Maurices joins Five Below, which opened late last month, and Old Navy, currently set to open by late next month, at the Pavilions near 24th and Industrial. These stores represent Phase 3 of retail at the Pavilions. Ross Dress for Less, Shoe Dept Encore and Marshalls opened in late 2022 or early last year. Hobby Lobby was the first store at the Pavilions, opening in 2017.
Developer Spencer Thomson says he is nearing completion on leases for at least two more nationally-known tenants. Thomson also continues to work towards bringing several restaurants to the development.
