Funeral services have been announced for Austin Wagoner, a former Emporia man killed in a crash in southwest Kansas last week.
Wagoner and his dog, PK, were killed when Wagoner’s car crashed just east of Meade this past Wednesday. Wagoner’s car left one highway, hit a culvert, vaulted over another highway and rolled several times.
Wagoner was born in Emporia and graduated from Emporia High, according to Roberts-Blue-Barnett, and was most recently of Albuquerque, New Mexico, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. He will be laid to rest at 2 pm Friday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett. Visitation will start at 7 pm Thursday at Roberts-Blue-Barnett. Graveside services with military honors will be Friday afternoon at Cottonwood Cemetery.
