Emporia city commissioners have announced a special meeting this week.
Commissioners are gathering at 2:30 pm at the Municipal Court Room to present and discuss the city’s economic development strategic plan. The public is welcome to attend.
The special City Commission meeting precedes regular meetings through Emporia Enterprises at 4 pm Wednesday and the Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas at 7 am Friday, both at the Trusler Business Center. Both economic boards have the study as key parts of their respective meetings this week.
