Stormont Vail Health has hired an Emporia native to join its internal medicine team in Emporia.
Dr. Lauren Miller joins the Cotton O’Neil Clinic. Miller received her bachelor’s degree at Emporia State University before obtaining a doctorate of osteopathic medicine at AT Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has also completed an internal medicine residency at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri.
Miller’s expertise is in preventive care and chronic condition management, according to Stormont Vail. Miller is the daughter of KVOE Sales Manager Tim Miller and Emporia State Federal Credit Union General Manager Angie Miller. Having recently become a mother herself, Lauren Miller’s interest in medicine started after her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Dr. Miller is currently accepting new patients.
