US Senator Jerry Moran is stopping in Emporia for official business on Friday.
Moran will make an appearance at the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office to discuss new federal resources so the department can replace currently-unspecified, outdated equipment.
Moran is the lead Republican on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science.
The presentation is at 2:15 pm.
