Downtown Emporia will be packed with people on Saturday.
The reason? The Great American Market, courtesy of Emporia Main Street. And just how big will it be? Really big, according to Director Casey Woods.
Over 200 vendors will line Commercial between Sixth and 12th. Businesses, non-profits and residents will have booths, and there will be food vendors as well.
Woods is asking residents to clear Commercial Street by 3 am Saturday in order to make space for all the vendors. Vehicles still parked will be towed at owner expense.
