Trial is back on the Sedgwick County docket for an Emporia man accused of child rape.
Trial in the case of John Robert Burton is currently set to begin Nov. 18, with a motion hearing Nov. 15.
Burton was arrested in June 2023 and faces single counts of rape and aggravated indecent liberties involving a child under the age of 14. The case is sealed.
