The Emporia High cross country team held the EHS Invitational Saturday at Jones Park.
The Emporia High girls finished seventh with 173 points. Sophomore Madison Evans finished seventh with a time of 19:25.46. Emma Beatty finished eighth with a time of 19:29.43. Bailee Van Sickle finished 59th with a time of 21:58.97. Ivanna Ordunno finished 60th with a time of 21:59.48. Allison Curtis finished 67th (22:15.83) and Ameila Lowery finished 70th (22:21.50).
On the boys side, freshman Xaden Delgado finished 26th with a time of 16:20.20. Gideon Lowery finished 31st (16:28.23). Kasen Van Sickle finished 52nd (17:05.65), Edgar Gomez finished 62nd (17:24.30). Emporia High did not record a team score.
Emporia High will head to the Baldwin Invitational next Saturday.
