Apella activities begin soon for Emporia High graduates and their families.
Emporia Main Street Community Development Coordinator Jess Buchholz says activities begin Friday, and there is a lot connected to Apella.
Tours of Emporia High are also planned.
Apella developed in 2022 as an all-class reunion and now takes place the third weekend in September. The term is ancient Greek word meaning “large gathering.”
