The Emporia High volleyball team defended its home floor Thursday in a tri against Topeka West and Salina South.
Emporia High swept Salina South, 25-19, 25-20, before going to three sets to complete the sweep over Topeka West, 25-9, 24-26, 25-15.
Sophomore Aubree Hess said the Lady Spartans are being successful playing together after picking up their sixth consecutive win.
Coach Ping Wang said there are still some things to clean up before they take the floor again.
Emporia High (12-6) is off until next Thursday when it travels to Hayden for a triangular.
