Emporia Fire dealt with a pair of fire-related calls Thursday night.
Battalion Chief Eron Steinlage says crews were dispatched to Dillons for a reported structure fire shortly after 11:30 pm. Steinlage says there was a light haze but no fire, and firefighters could not determine the source of the haze.
Before that incident, crews were sent to a dumpster fire at 411 West Eighth. The fire was put out quickly after crews were dispatched out shortly before 9 pm. A cause has not been listed.
