The Emporia State volleyball team bounced back from their second loss of the year to beat Henderson State in four sets on day two of the PSU Invitational at John Lance Arena in Pittsburg, Kan. Friday with a 25-16, 28-26, 17-25, 25-18 victory over the Reddies. The Lady Hornets peppered HSU in the first set hitting .412 on the way to a 1-0 lead before scraping by HSU in the second set after the Reddies saved three set points. HSU controlled the third set hitting .333 while ESU hit just .067. E-State (7-2) built a 16-10 lead in the fourth and was never challenged to take the win and move to 1-1 at the event. Rayishon Jackman led ESU as one of four Lady Hornets in double-digit kills with 17 while Camilla Ossola added 12. Weronicka Wrzesinka & McKenya Sorrells each tallied 11. Jackman had another double-double with 16 digs. The Lady Hornets wrap up their weekend Saturday against Missouri S&T. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
