Severe weather threatened the KVOE listening area for the second straight evening Saturday. As was the case Friday, none materialized.
Storms triggered severe thunderstorm warnings for north Lyon county, as well as Morris and Wabaunsee counties.
Beneficial rainfall came from those storms and additional activity through Sunday morning:
*KVOE studios: 1 inch
*Emporia Municipal Airport: 0.98 inches
*Allen: 0.80 inches
*Bushong: 0.50 inches
*Neosho Rapids: 1.80 inches
Rain is possible through Sunday night. No severe weather is expected.
