It’s a busy time for high school Homecoming activities.
Emporia High is in the middle of a week’s worth of events. The annual bonfire Wednesday evening at Emporia High follows the student body vote on king and queen before school and during lunch Wednesday. Thursday’s theme is Dynamic Duos Spirit Day, followed by the Pajama Party Spirit Day, the annual parade at 5:30 pm, the coronation ceremony at 6:40 pm and the football game against Topeka High at 7 pm — all Friday.
The annual dance is 7 pm Saturday.
