The Emporia State cross country teams both finished up runs Friday morning at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo. Both the men’s and women’s teams finished 18th in their event. Dylan Hunter was the top finisher for the men who ran 25:39.1 to finish 91st. Mason Bina was the fastest Lady Hornet crossing the line in 23:35.6 to finish 95th. Emporia State returns to action October 11th hosting their only home meet of the season at the ESU Invitational at Jones Park in Emporia. The women’s 5K race begins at 4:00 p.m. and the men’s 8K will begin at 4:45 p.m.
