An Abilene man faces the prospect of drug distribution charges after an arrest this past weekend.
Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says the arrest of 35-year-old Caleb Kidd follows an alleged traffic violation and resulting traffic stop on US Highway 75 near US Highway 56 shortly before 10:45 am Sunday. Wells says illegal narcotics were located during the stop.
Kidd was arrested on suspicion of distributing methamphetamine and possessing paraphernalia. Amounts have not been specified.
Formal charges are pending.
