Newman Regional Health is inviting the local community to a town hall meeting next week.
The hospital will host a Medicare Town Hall Monday at the Emporia Senior Center with two sessions at 10 am and 4 pm. The town hall is a free event that will include several presentations from healthcare experts on topics such as coverage options, Medicare basics, enrollment, and a local experts panel.
Community partners and presenters scheduled to attend the event include the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging, Emporia Presbyterian Manor, Angels Home Health, CareArc and Haag Pharmacy.
