Lyon County Commissioners have lent their support to a pair of local agencies.
During their regular action meeting Thursday morning, commissioners approved signing a pair of letters of support the first of which was for Hetlinger Developmental Services which is seeking to submit a transportation grant application through the Kansas Department of Transportation. The second letter was in support of the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging for the Aging and Disability Resource Center of HCBS statewide assessment organization.
Following these actions, which took place as part of the other business portion of the meeting, commissioners also delivered their weekly reports and conducted public comment before moving to executive session for the remainder of the morning. Commissioners held three executive sessions, two for non-elected personnel matters and one for legal purposes, with no action taken.
Commissioners will convene for their weekly action meeting at 9 am next Thursday inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
