Residents interested in learning more about the work of Hand in Hand Hospice, including volunteer roles, can attend a special training session taking place this week.
Training will be from 9 am to 4 pm Friday at the Hand in Hand office inside Newman Regional Health’s Cora Miller Hall. Volunteer Coordinator Erin Reece says volunteers aren’t limited to spending time with a person in a hospital or care facility.
