Downtown Emporia will be transported back to medieval times this weekend.
Saturday will see the inaugural Enchanted Emporia event take over the downtown corridor courtesy of Emporia Main Street. Main Street Community Development Coordinator Jessica Buchholz, a recent guest of KVOE’s Morning Show says the event will be much like a ren faire complete with a king and queen and various activities through the early afternoon.
Buccholz says the events will begin at 10 am at the center of town 901 Commercial Street.
Buccholz adds they encourage all who attend to dress in their best ren faire attire.
