Coffey County deputies say they investigated a possible threat at Waverly High School.
Deputies say they were dispatched to the school Friday. They also determined any threat to students, staff or the facility was invalid after an investigation.
The nature of the potential threat has not been divulged. The incident follows possible threats at Burlington Middle School and Emporia Middle School last month. Both were later deemed as invalid.
