The Emporia High volleyball team celebrated its Senior Night with victories over Topeka High and Topeka West Tuesday at Spartan Gymnasium.
Emporia High swept the Chargers, 25-14, 25-13, and swept the Trojans, 25-9, 25-18.
Ryane Howe was one of three seniors honored said it was a successful night.
Adeiah Heffner and Sadie Rethman were honored and the Hess family, whose daughter Alli, would’ve been a senior this year.
Coach Ping Wang said the Lady Spartans need to remain consistent heading into their home tournament on Saturday.
Emporia High (20-10) opens up pool play against Bishop Carroll, followed by Seaman, Lawrence, and Bonner Springs. Matches begin at 9 a.m. at Emporia.
