Residents who have suffered through miscarriages, stillbirths or other infant loss are encouraged to gather at C of E Park on Tuesday evening.
Newman Regional Health’s Wave of Light ceremony begins with a remembrance speech at 6:45 pm, followed by a candle-lighting ceremony at 7 pm.
Wave of Light is held internationally and concludes Baby Loss Awareness Week. About one million pregnancies per year in the United States end in miscarriage. Over 20,000 are stillborn.
