Lyon County commissioners have fire alarm testing as among their discussion items for their weekly action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners could approve Tech Electronics’ annual fire alarm test and inspection process for the Courthouse, Annex, Law Enforcement Center, Fairgrounds Anderson Building and Bowyer Community Building. The total cost is nearly $14,000.
Commission and staff reports are planned, as well as three executive sessions, two for legal matters and one for non-elected personnel. An agenda item to discuss plans for a new training facility and shooting range for the Sheriff’s Office as part of federal funding recently announced by US Senator Jerry Moran has been removed.
The meeting begins at 9 am at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
