Emporia’s Underground Utilities Department has an unplanned water main issue to handle Thursday.
This involves West 15th between Merchant and Center, following other failures on West 15th between Rural and Washington earlier this summer and fall. West 15th is closed to thru traffic between Center and Merchant while the initial repair process is underway.
