The Friends of the Emporia Library will begin their fall book sale Saturday.
The sale began Friday with a preview for friends and members only and will open to the public starting at 9 a.m. Saturday and continuing through next Wednesday. All products on sale were donated by the local community, and Dee Schwinn of the Friends of the Library says the community came through in a big way this year.
All books and products in the sale will be full price through this weekend before special bag days begin Monday. The specials will cost $10 per bag Monday, $5 per bag Tuesday and $2 per bag Wednesday.
Book sale hours are as follows:
Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday: 1 pm to 5 pm
Monday: 9 am to 6 pm
Tuesday: 9 am to 6 pm
Wednesday: 9 am to 5 pm
The sale will take place at the Library Annex at 618 Mechanic Street. For questions or more information visit Emporialibrary.org.
