Emporia High junior Kali Keough placed for the third consecutive year at the Class 5A State Tennis Championships in Andover.
After a 3-1 record on day one on Friday, Keough went 2-1 on Saturday and finished ninth with an 8-2 victory over Molly Gorman of Seaman.
As a team, Emporia High finished in a tie for eighth. Keough along with the doubles team of Peyton Chanley and Kinsley Hines all return next fall for their senior seasons.
