The Emporia State volleyball team beat Central Missouri for the first time since 2014 in a thrilling 27-25, 22-25, 25-23, 13-25, 15-13 victory Friday at the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo. ESU squeaked out the win despite eight fewer kills and six more errors. The Jennies outhit the Lady Hornets .284 to .192 in the match. Weronicka Wrzesinska led the way with 20 kills while Camilla Ossola added 16. McKenya Sorrells, Lillian Zeigler, & Mia Frisbie each had six blocks while Wrzesinska led the way with 19 digs. Rayishon Jackman also had a double-double with 13 kills and 15 digs. ESU (13-5, 5-3 MIAA) returns to action Saturday for a 3:00 p.m. match at Missouri Southern.
