The jury trial for Emporian Travis Westcott is entering its second week.
Westcott is facing over 20 counts in Lyon County District Court, ranging from attempted murder to aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated witness intimidation, stalking, criminal threat and other charges dating back to alleged episodic illegal activity between March 2020 and May 2023.
Prosecution witnesses return to the stand Monday with defense witnesses to follow. The tentative schedule has trial set to end Wednesday.
