The outdoor season is coming to an end for the Emporia Farmers Market Saturday.
The market will open at its regular time 8 am in the parking lot at Seventh and Merchant and will include several fun activities and attractions according to Manager Trisha Fullerton.
Once the final outdoor market closes up Saturday, the winter market season will begin the following weekend, Saturday, November 2nd, inside of Water’s Hardware. The start of the winter season will come just a few days ahead of one of the market’s fall traditions and largest annual fundraiser Soup-a-Palooza.
Soup-a-Palooza will, as always, take place on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 5. Fullerton had additional details, including a full run down of the schedule and menu, during a recent interview on KVOE’s Morning Show.
