The American Legion will be the site of an upcoming blood drive in Emporia.
The Legion will be hosting a drive from noon to 6 p.m. on Monday in the main meeting hall. Ed Rathke of the American Legion invites anyone and everyone who can donate to do so, noting that he has seen how important donations can be firsthand.
According to Sally Miller of the American Red Cross, the blood drive is open to the public, and there are still some appointments available at last word.
