Residents wanting to get a mail ballot ahead of the general election next Tuesday are running out of time.
The deadline is at the close of business Tuesday. Residents wanting a mail ballot can fill out an application at their county courthouse or they can go online, either to sos.ks.gov or ksvotes.org.
Mail ballots have to be postmarked on or before Nov. 5 and then received by Nov. 8 for them to count in this year’s election.
In-person advance voting at county courthouses continues during normal business hours through Friday. Hours Monday will be 8 am to noon. Election Day voting hours are 7 am to 7 pm.
