The Emporia High football team opens postseason play at Goddard-Eisenhower on Thursday.
Eisenhower is ranked sixth in Class 5A with a 6-2 record and has lost its last two games to Andover Central and Wichita Northwest.
Emporia High coach Kaden Glinsmann said the Spartans will be thinking about this game for awhile no matter the outcome.
Kickoff from USD 265 District Stadium at Goddard High School is at 7 p.m. The RV-Doc Pregame Show begins at 6:30 p.m. on KVOE.
