Sentencing was supposed to take place for Skylar Rose Creed on Wednesday as her drug distribution case was supposed to end in Lyon County District Court. Instead, she now faces a bench warrant for failing to appear.
Creed had pleaded no contest to one count of possessing fentanyl with intent to distribute as part of an agreement reached in late July. Other charges, including marijuana and methamphetamine possession, were dropped.
With the failure to appear, Judge Lee Fowler both issued a bench warrant and found Creed violated her bond cinditions. Bond has been forfeited.
Creed and co-defendant Stephen Jennison were originally charged with unlawfully distributing up to 100 dosage units of fentanyl, as well as possessing marijuana and methamphetamine, as part of an alleged incident in early August 2023. Jennison pleaded no contest to fentanyl possession a year ago and received 18 months probation.
