Emporia High junior Elise Eckert can add another accolade to her list. On Monday, Eckert was named a first-team All-5A honoree from the Kansas Golf Coaches Association. Eckert finished fourth at the Class 5A State Golf Championships last month with a two-day total of 150. Her two day total at state set a school record at Emporia High. Eckert also holds the school record for lowest round of 71 at the EHS Invitational in September. Eckert is a three-time state medalist and helped Emporia High to a second place finish in Class 5A in 2022 as a freshman.
