Regional round of high school football continues tonight with two area teams featured on the KVOE Network of Stations.
Chase County hosts Central Plains in the 8M-DI playoffs. Both teams enter the game at 7-2. Chase County coach Derick Budke said Central Plains will want to control possession, while the Bulldogs want to take advantage of opportunities.
Kickoff from Cottonwood Falls is at 7 p.m. The Mel’s Tire Pregame Show begins at 6:30 p.m. on Country 101.7.
Olpe will head to Centralia for the 3-6 matchup of the Class 1A East bracket. Olpe is 7-2 while Centralia is 8-1. Olpe coach Chris Schmidt said the difference in the game could be one or two plays.
