Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness staff now have a new view from their offices and it’s a pretty nice one according to Executive Director Amanda Cunningham.
Cunningham spoke with KVOE News Wednesday, just a few days after Crosswinds fully moved its administration and adult services departments to their new location at 1519 Merchant Street the former Chi Omega building across from the Emporia State University campus. The move to the Chi Omega facility follows the transition of Crosswinds’ therapy, children’s services and a medication clinic and pharmacy to the Sauder Family Center, formerly known as the Earl Center, earlier this year.
Cunningham says staff have settled well into both new locations and says the moves signify a new era for Crosswinds.
The relocation of services and administration came as a result of the Breaking Stigma, Breaking Ground Capital Campaign which raised more than $5 million over the past several years. Those dollars helped the agency with the purchase and renovations of both facilities.
